Roadhogs, Speed Demons, Motorcyclists, Taxi drivers, Mercedes/ BMW .........

It frustrates me sometimes when some drivers like to hog the extreme right lane and travel at speeds lower than the speed limit. And the best part is when you flash your high beam at them, instead of moving aside and letting you pass some even intentionally slow down even more to annoy you further. On a few occasions I even had the drivers sticking his hand out to flash 'The Finger' back at me. What runs through my mind then "If you want to travel at your own pace, other than the speed limit, why don't you take the middle lanes and leave the OVERTAKING LANE free? Haven't you taken your highway code? Doesn't it say that the right lane is for overtaking only?". My hypothesis is that we have peak hour traffic jams because of such drivers who love to hog the right lane. "All it takes is One slow driver on the overtaking lane to start a jam."

On another note, we also have the 'reckless drivers' such as those mentioned above. On many an occasion, I've had to either toot my horn, swerve, slam onto my brakes etc etc to avoid a collision with said drivers. Sometimes even sounding the horn does nothing as these drivers 'squeeze' their way in as if it were their right of way.

I admit that sometimes I get distracted and I unknowingly commit the above offences too. But what frustrates me so is that some drivers either do not know that they are annoying others or they intentionally do so!

Sigh. All I can do at this point is rant and rave and then let it go. Either that or I can immigrate elsewhere other than South East Asia to get better traffic users who are also polite. But as most of my friends know, that is highly not possible.
