A New Breath of Life

Hmmm........

It's kind of strange but the sense of stepping out of inertia is actually great. I am getting things done and I feel good for achieving things. For a while in the past, the more I veg out the lousier I feel. That is a strange feeling. One always dreams of being able to veg out all day and always looking forward to the next vacation. But when you are actually doing that, you actually feel lousy?! How about that? Maybe this is nature's way of playing the Mother figure and spanking us for bumming.

Well, I just went to Ikea the past few days and managed to shop for the bookshelves to finally furnish the very empty, yet messy, studyroom that I have. I would then be able to clear out the study room of the mess. Don't expect too much coz I got the Billy which is the budget shelves that you can find in Ikea. The only consolation is that it is in the same colour scheme as the studyroom as well as those in Bub's room.

Next project would be the Attic storeroom. Right now it is just empty luggages and boxes and more boxes..........I aim to organise it a little and get things out of boxes so that we can THROW things that we longer need. Well, maybe not throw but donate them to the church so that someone else who needs those items will be able to get them cheap while the church gets funds for their maintenance expenditure. That way, everyone is happy!

Will post more when the time comes.

Did I mentioned that I stubbed my toenail? It's the 2nd toe of my left foot and it was damn painful. I stubbed it on our "Runway Light" while attempting to reverse my MIL's car a little barefooted. It's all swollen and blue and black. I would post a picture of it but I think I would rather readers to my blog keep their lunch and dinners in. It is quite gross. Doc said we can't do much about it and just have to wait for the new nail to grow before the old one falls out. Well, until then it is getting a little itchy and I am very tempted to just burst the swelling.
